The couple, who live in rural Arizona, recently moved to a new town.
Meagan, 26, and her husband, Jordan, 24, were able to go camping in their backyard on a cool, spring evening.
“It’s the perfect spot for us,” Meagan said.
“It’s a great place to camp, and we enjoy it.”
Meagan and Jordan, who work at a restaurant in the area, decided to camp at a nearby creek, after they spotted an ad on Craigslist for a campground.
After visiting the property and seeing what they were doing, Meagan invited Jordan and her boyfriend to her home to share a little of their life in Arizona.
“It was just one of those things that just clicked for me,” Jordan said.
They had to decide where to go, but Jordan said they both liked the idea of a spot with fresh water.
As they settled into the house, Jordan said, they discovered that Meagan’s family has lived in the same house for more than a decade.
“I knew she had been there for quite some time, but I didn’t know that she was actually in Arizona,” Jordan recalled.
Jordan said he and Meagan were impressed with the location and quality of the campsite.
“They were clean, well-maintained and really good,” he said.
“The camping gear was really nice.
It was just really neat to see the waterfalls and the creek and the lake, the way they set it up.”
Meagan said she plans to continue to stay in Arizona for a long time.
“I’ll always be there, but we’ll see where it takes us,” she said.
